Finding a Zapier expert for hire is not easy: it takes time to find the right person who has the relevant experience, has good reviews, who you will get along with, and who is within your budget. In this post, I will show you the 3 best ways that you can find the right Zapier expert to meet all of these criteria!
TheWorkflowPro (aka The Best Zapier Expert for Hire 😉 )
Hey it’s my blog and I’ll call myself the best Zapier expert for hire if I want to!
Now after showing you that I have a bit of personality and will be fun to work with, let’s get down to business and why you should trust me to get the job done.
My name is Tyron Pretorius, a previous mechanical engineer turned marketing operations lead. Although I might have turned to the dark side of the force by going down the business route, I still love to get down and dirty with some good problem solving, programming, and automation challenges.
In my time as a marketing operations lead, I have come across more than my fair share of tedious, monotonous, and downright dreary tasks, which has inspired the creation of over 100 Zaps to automate and streamline these processes.
And do you want to know what the best part is?
I document a lot of the cool projects I work on here in this blog so you can see that I know my sh*t.
Head on over to the Zapier section or click on some of the links below to see how I can help you automate and streamline your sales and marketing operations processes.

Zapier’s Affiliated Experts & Community Form
Zapier has an affiliation program where businesses and individuals can apply to become “Zapier Certified Experts” , which then get listed on their website.
The “Zapier expert for hire” web page that they have is very user friendly and makes it easy to filter based on your budget, location, and language as well as the type of service you are looking for. Once you have narrowed down your search, every Zapier expert for hire then has a 5-star rating based on the number of reviews they have.
You can then of course sort by this rating as well as by tier, which can show you all the “Premier Experts” ahead of the “Certified Experts”, who do not have as many jobs completed and as many positive reviews.
And to top it all off, there is even a concierge service to help match you with the right Zapier expert to meet your needs.
One final way that you can leverage Zapier to get help with projects or troubleshoot errors is reaching out in the Zapier community forum. I have always gotten at least a few responses, quite quickly too, whenever I have posted a question so if someone answers your question and seems to know their stuff then ask to see if they are available for hire.
The Freelancing Oligopoly
You most likely do not need me to mention the freelancing behemoths like Upwork and Fiverr but for completeness sake I will mention them here briefly.
Both of these platforms offer a host of talented Zapier experts from across the globe but they differ in their approach.
I personally believe that Upwork is the better platform to find a Zapier expert for hire because there is less work for you to do. Once you create a job in Upwork it is then visible to all the Zapier experts on the platform who can then apply to the job if they are interested and meet the criteria you specify for applicants. You also have the option of searching for Zapier experts on the platform and then inviting them to apply for the job.
With Fiverr, there is more work to be done by you because you do not have the option to list a job like Upwork but instead you have to reach out to Zapier experts telling them about your project each time.
So where is the best place to find your Zapier expert for hire?
I probably did not do myself any favors by giving Zapier’s services such a rave review but they have honestly done a great job in making it easy to find a Zapier expert for hire. Since the Zapier experts on their site are approved by Zapier themselves I would use the Zapier expert platform first before going to Upwork.
Also since Zapier makes money from selling their product and not from their experts they do not take a portion of their experts’ earnings unlike Upwork, who can take up to 20% of a freelancer’s earnings.
While I may not be a Zapier certified partner (the application for new Zapier experts has been closed since at least January 2021) I started putting all my Zapier projects up on this blog to show that I am a Zapier expert in all but name. So if you want to “shop local” and go with the little guy then fill out the form below to get in touch.
I think this could be the beginning of a beautiful friendship 🙂
